Account Cum Admin

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Account Cum Admin to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

• Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase orders.
• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and monthly accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and support audits when required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.

Administrative Duties

• Handle general administrative and office support tasks.
• Maintain employee records and company documentation.
• Manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and customer enquiries professionally.
• Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
• Assist management with ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL Accounting, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (Chinese) to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients. Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
