ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (AP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and validate invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, and supporting documents.
• Review and confirm the accuracy of accounting entries generated by the AI system.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions and take corrective action.
• Process supplier payments in accordance with company policies and payment schedules.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding issues.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to verify transaction accuracy.
• Generate AP reports and provide analysis to management.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and audit preparation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Continuously improve AI verification processes and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted systems and digital workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-based accounting systems or automated invoice processing.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Experience in retail, distribution, telecommunication, or FMCG industries is preferred.

Working Hours:

• Working Hours : 9AM - 6PM.
• Working days : Monday to Friday.
• Off every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
