Account Executive (AP/AR)

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments in a timely manner
• Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Perform monthly bank, supplier, and debtor reconciliations
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies as required
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements (e.g. SST, LHDN, etc.)
• Participate in system migration, audit preparation, and process improvements as needed

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g. SQL, QuickBooks)
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations (SST, Withholding Tax, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
