Account Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

A.               Financial Reporting

·             Maintain financial records in the accounting system timely.

·             Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules, i.e., account schedules etc.

·             Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliation, investigate, and address any discrepancies.

·             Budget & cost control.

·             Analyse inventory shortages, prepare cost & sales analysis report.

·             Preparation of journal voucher for approval.

·             Monitor receivable and payable aging

·             Ensure Internal Control Framework compliance across activities. Adhere to segregation of duties defined by management.

B.        Compliance

·       Assist in statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements.

·       Coordination with external auditors.

·       Assist in company's tax matters, including bi-monthly SST filings and corporate tax.

C.         Ad hoc

·       To involve and assist in duties assigned from time to time by the Management.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, a Professional Qualification (MIA/ ACCA/ CPA), or

currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

·       Preferred audit background.

·       Proven experience in financial analysis, or a related role.

·       Financial focus and experience, sensitive in numbers.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

·       Familiar with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS etc.).

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

·       Good organization, analytical skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Committed with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work within deadlines.
