Account Executive

About the role

This role involves handling daily accounting and finance transactions accurately, performing a full set of accounts, and ensuring accounting records are properly maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance transactions accurately
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure accounting records are properly maintained
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and other financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting-related transactions
• Assist in monthly closing and ensure accounts are updated on a timely basis
• Prepare and maintain proper documentation and filing for accounting records
• Assist with audit, tax, statutory and other finance-related matters
• Use SQL Accounting Software for daily accounting operations and reporting
• Check and verify financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software is a must
• Able to prepare and understand P&L reports
• Good knowledge and experience in bank reconciliation
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry accounting
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Fast learner and willing to learn new systems, processes and tasks
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines
