Account Executive

• Manage and handle a full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Liaise with external parties, including bankers, auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, and other professionals, to ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory obligations.

• Managing daily accounting tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate account records.

• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet schedules for management review, adhering to deadlines.

• Prepare payments and perform monthly reconciliation of bank balance, creditors and intercompany balances.

• Verify purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, ensuring all entries accurately recorded in accounting system.

• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as and when required by management.

• Perform monthly stocktake and inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate stock quantities and proper inventory records.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, or Professional Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, particularly in managing a full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, regulations and internal controls.
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese is an added advantage.
• Audit experience from accounting firms will be an added advantage.
• Great work ethic and high sense of urgency.
• Independent, responsible, proactive, self-motivated, effective communication skills and highly committed.
• Proficient in programs including Accounting Software (eg: SQL, AutoCount, Million etc..), Microsoft Office - Excel and Word (advantage).
