Account Executive

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an added advantage
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of accounting
• Proficient in SQL Accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of loan accounting, interest calculations, and credit operations is an advantage
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle basic accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations

• Perform month-end closing activities accurately and on a timely basis

• Record loan disbursements, repayments, and interest income accurately in SQL Accounting software

• Ensure proper reconciliation of customer accounts and loan balances

• Coordinate with operations team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities when required

• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls over financial transactions

• Support ad hoc assignments when required

• Report directly to the Manager
