ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

CITI TRENCHLESS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As an Account Executive/Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the full range of accounting duties for our business, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our dynamic and rapidly expanding company.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other reports for management.
• Ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, including income tax, GST/SST, and other relevant taxes.
• Managing e-Invoicing processes in compliance with regulatory requirements (including validation, submission, and reconciliation).
• Providing support to the finance team and assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Required language(s): Malay, English and Mandarin (are advantage).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in the accounting field; experience in an audit firm is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Required skills: Accounting, Financial Reporting, E-Invoicing (LHDN), SST/GST knowledge, able to work independently, problem solver, team player, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
