Account Executive

Motion Recruitment is currently hiring for an Enterprise Account Executive. We're looking for a hunter who's tired of the req queue. This isn't a role where you wait for an open position to land in your inbox and go find candidates for it. This is a role where you walk into a VP's office with a point of view on their business — before they've even posted a job.

Required

• 3+ years in staffing (recruitment, sales, or account management); IT staffing experience strongly preferred
• A track record of opening and closing with VP and C-suite business leaders
• Experience selling IT staffing solutions with a strong grasp of operational and commercial structures
• Comfort with SOW, managed services, or outcome-based engagements
• Fluency with VMS platforms and MSP environments
• The ability to talk credibly about software engineering, data, infrastructure, or AI initiatives with a functional leader
• The discipline to build account intelligence from public sources before you ever pick up the phone
• Sharp written and verbal communication, with strong negotiation and closing skills
• A collaborative streak — you'll work closely with delivery and recruiting teams
• A self-starter mentality — you build pipeline from insight and relationships, not from an inbound queue

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience selling into tech, financial services, healthcare, or pharma
• LinkedIn Sales Navigator proficiency and a proven outbound motion
• Existing relationships with VP Engineering, Head of Data, or similar leaders at mid-to-large enterprises
• Exposure to AI, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives
