Account Executive

About the role

This is a full-time position supporting the bookkeeping and accounting functions, including preparation of full set accounts, bank reconciliation, monthly/quarterly/year-end closing, audit schedules, financial statements, payroll, GST and corporate tax submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the bookkeeping function and preparation of full set accounts including data entry
• Preparation of bank reconciliation
• Assist with the monthly / quarterly / year-end closing
• Prepare the necessary schedules for audit purpose
• Liaise with clients and auditor
• GST submission
• Prepare Payroll and CPF submission
• Prepare financial statements/reports and XBRL
• Prepare corporate tax
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the director

About you

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in an audit or accounting firm
• Proficient in MS Office, MYOB, QuickBook online, Xero and other online accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word with all those formulae and function (ie Pivot table, etc)
• Hand-on experience in handling full set of accounts
• Team Player, good working attitude and be organized
• Good English, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills required
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment
• Must be process oriented, disciplined and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
• At least LCCI/CAT holder or equivalent, prefer Degree, ACCA holder or equivalent
