ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

This is an accounting and finance operations role responsible for managing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including daily accounting and finance operations, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure transactions are properly recorded
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables when required
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of management accounts
• Ensure all accounting transactions comply with company policies and procedures
• Assist in preparing documents and information required for audits, tax matters, and statutory submissions
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties on accounting matters
• Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance
• Must have experience handling full set of accounts.
• Must have working experience in an audit firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with accounting software Odoo or Erp System is an added advantage
• Knowledge of SST and e-Invoice is an added advantage
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Fluent in speaking and writing on Mandarin, Malay & English
