ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team at LUMINRISE ADVISORY SDN. BHD.' in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their accounting and bookkeeping needs.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain and reconcile client accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare and file tax returns, invoices, and other financial documents in a timely manner
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and cash flow analyses
• Liaise with clients to address queries and provide support on accounting-related matters
• Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small practice or advisory firm
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as SQL
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
