Account Executive

About the role

This full-time Account Executive position at Epicsense Vistra Hub Sdn Bhd' in Krubong Melaka offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services to small and medium-sized businesses.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Preparing and filing tax returns and other regulatory documents
• Providing financial analysis and advice to clients to support their business decision-making
• Liaising with clients to understand their accounting needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
• Collaborating with the broader team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small practice or advisory firm
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, MYOB or Xero
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
