Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Account Executive to join our team at MX FRUIT & VEGETABLE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and accounting practices.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
2. Process and record financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and receipts
3. Prepare financial reports and statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
4. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaising with external auditors
5. Provide support to the Finance and Accounting team as needed
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry
3. Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
