Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all accounting transactions and financial records accurately.
• Prepare budget forecasts and support financial planning activities.
• Prepare and publish financial statements within the required timelines.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes as per the company requirments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure timely processing of bank payments and other financial transactions.
• Calculate applicable taxes and prepare and file tax returns as required.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Monitor and report on the companys financial health, cash flow, and liquidity position.
• Review and audit financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of financial information and perform database backups when required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, accounting standards, regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including working with formulas, functions, and financial data.
• Good understanding and practical experience of general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
