Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our client portfolio whilst ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role is instrumental in achieving our sales targets and establishing LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. as a trusted partner in the steel manufacturing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories or customer segments
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and engagement
• Present and demonstrate steel products and solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their unique benefits and applications
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs and requirements
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing whilst ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals
• Monitor account activity and maintain detailed records of all client interactions, transactions and agreements using CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfilment and delivery
• Provide ongoing support to existing clients and act as their primary point of contact for inquiries and concerns
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to identify growth opportunities

What we're looking for

• 1+ years of proven experience in account management, sales or business development, preferably within the manufacturing or steel industry
• Strong understanding of steel products, specifications and industrial applications
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Self-motivated and results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Sales or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet clients as required
• Knowledge of the Philippine steel market and established network within the industry is highly advantageous
