Position: Account Executive
Department: Finance & Accounts
Experience: 1–2 years
Key Requirement: Minimum 1 year of hands-on QuickBooks experience
Reporting To: Finance & Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an Account Executive to support day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate should have practical experience in QuickBooks, basic accounting knowledge, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions in QuickBooks.
• Prepare and process customer invoices, vendor bills, receipts, and payment entries.
• Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
• Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Review accounting entries and identify discrepancies or missing transactions.
• Assist with vendor and customer account reconciliation.
• Maintain supporting documents for accounting transactions.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Track outstanding customer receivables and vendor payables.
• Assist in preparation of expense reports and payment schedules.
• Support management with accounting data and routine financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing, payments, and accounting queries.
• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly supported.
• Assist with audit, tax, and compliance-related documentation as required.

QuickBooks Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• Creating and maintaining customer and vendor profiles.
• Recording sales invoices, bills, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Bank feed review and transaction categorization.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Customer and vendor ledger reconciliation.
• Generating basic financial reports such as:
• Profit & Loss
• Balance Sheet
• Trial Balance
• Accounts Receivable Aging
• Accounts Payable Aging
• Identifying and correcting basic accounting discrepancies.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of practical QuickBooks experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of debit/credit, journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Good Excel skills.
• Ability to work with accounting data and supporting documents.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle routine finance activities independently.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

• QuickBooks Online
• Bank reconciliation
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• Payment gateway reconciliation
• Multi-currency accounting
• VAT/GST-related accounting
• Month-end closing

• Accuracy of accounting entries
• Timely bank reconciliation
• Timely vendor/customer reconciliation
• Accuracy of AP and AR records
• Timely completion of month-end activities
• Proper maintenance of supporting documents
• QuickBooks data accuracy and completeness

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
