ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

Mywisehome Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Finance team in Kamunting, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in managing financial accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and providing essential support to our accounting operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organisation whilst building and nurturing key client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining manufacturing accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
• Processing invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions with attention to detail
• Liaising with clients to address account queries, provide updates, and resolve billing issues
• Maintaining comprehensive account documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial consolidation
• Supporting the preparation of financial analysis and reports for management and stakeholders
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting processes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting, accounts management, or a similar accounting role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, with experience in accounts receivable and payable
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, generally accepted accounting practices, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software for data analysis and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Relevant accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or a related certification is preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with accounting standards
