Work Mode: Completely Remote / Work From Home
Meeting: Occasional in-person meeting at Kolkata, as required

Working Hours: 9:30-18:30, (Mon-Sat)
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹13,000 per month
Experience: 6 months – 1.5 years

About the Role

Energy Ecolighting Enterprise is looking for a Accounts Executive to manage the company's day-to-day accounting, billing, vendor accounts, payment coordination, banking records, salary disbursement and financial documentation.

The person will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day accounts and payment-related matters, ensuring that bills, payments, ledgers and financial records are properly tracked and updated. Final payment approval and release will remain with management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain GST-related documents, invoices, bills, vouchers and accounting records.
• Prepare customer invoices and verify vendor bills and supporting documents.
• Check BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and vendor bills for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and keep all accounts updated.
• Track pending payments, upcoming payments, receivables and payables.
• Prepare payment details/payment requests for management approval and coordinate the payment process.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related queries from vendors, employees and other stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates regarding payment status, pending bills and outstanding amounts.
• Maintain records of all payments made and ensure proper supporting documentation.
• Handle day-to-day banking records and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly salary disbursement and maintain salary/payment records.
• Maintain project-wise records of expenses, purchases, vendor bills and payments.
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements in coordination with the company's CA/accounting consultant.
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial documents and provide records whenever required for accounting, audit or management review.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation is mandatory.
• B.Com / Commerce graduates will be preferred.

Requirements

• 6 months – 1.5 years of experience in Accounts/Accounting.
• Practical knowledge of GST, invoicing, billing, ledger maintenance and payment processing.
• Basic understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy while handling financial records.
• Good communication and follow-up skills, particularly for vendor/payment coordination.
• Ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
• Candidates with experience in electrical, construction, engineering, contracting or other project-based companies will be preferred.

Work From Home / Completely Remote

Occasional physical meetings at Kolkata may be required(Weekly One Day).

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹13,000 per month
