Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team in USJ 5, Subang Jaya.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Perform bank, payment and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare documents and schedules for audit and tax purposes.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, suppliers and other relevant parties when required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts is required.
• Proficient in AutoCount or SQL Accounting Software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in 3 main languages, written and spoken.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
