Account Executive

About the role

Konsep Karisma Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining a complete and accurate set of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash book & e-invoice.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts, including outstanding balances and payment status.
• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit statutory payments and relevant financial information, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and SST, where applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties when required.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation and provide the necessary supporting documents.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience in handling full set accounts.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in handling bank reconciliation, AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Good understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements.
• Good work ethics, integrity and a high level of trustworthiness.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered, depending on experience and suitability.
