About the role
Key responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts and ensure accounting entries are posted accurately and timely
- Prepare complete set of financial reports and management reports
- Manage tax compliance, preparation of tax submissions and payments
- Arrange payables to suppliers and cheques for payment
- Check cash flow reports
- Prepare bank and creditor reconciliation
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and government bodies for statutory compliance
- Assist in coaching junior account assistants
About you
- Possess at least Diploma, Advanced/Higher, or Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accounting
- At least 2 years working experience in the related field
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and SQL accounting software
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese
- Responsible and able to work independently
