Job Title: Accounts Executive / Junior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Book purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally / Zoho Books
• Bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger reconciliation
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and assist with GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B vs books)
• TDS working, payment challans, and return support
• Maintain purchase and sales registers; assist in monthly closing
• Prepare basic MIS, ledgers, and schedules as required
• Coordinate with clients for data, documents, and query resolution
• Support seniors during audits and finalisation

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter / CA dropout / CMA candidates preferred (not mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime; Zoho Books an advantage
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting concepts
• Comfortable with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
• Accurate, organised, and able to meet compliance deadlines
• Good written and spoken communication for client coordination

Good to Have

• Prior experience in a CA firm or accounting outsourcing setup
• Exposure to payroll, ERP data entry, or multi-client environmentsRole & responsibilities
