Account Executive

About the role

As an Account Executive at Boon Boon Builder Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential accounting support to the organisation. What you'll be doing

1. Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations
2. Preparing financial statements and reports to support management decision-making
3. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
4. Providing administrative support to the finance team, including processing payments and managing accounts payable and receivable
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and insights
6. Continuously looking for ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2. Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within the construction industry
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. A self-motivated and proactive individual with a keen eye for detail
