ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation)
• Prepare timely monthly financial reports and year-end closing
• Handle project accounting, including budgeting, costing, and variance analysis
• Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Prepare progress claims, invoicing, and follow up on collections
• Manage cash flow and financial planning
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 4 or 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
• Familiar with project accounting, progress claims, and contract cost control
• Knowledge of relevant Malaysian financial and tax regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
