Account Executive

Full Sets of Accounts:

• Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Generate ad-hoc reports as required by management.

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

• Execute month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for year-end audits and tax filings.

Taxation and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparing and filing GST/SST, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and consultants during audits or reviews.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.

Cash Flow and Internal Controls:

• Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Implement and adhere to internal control policies to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Train relevant team members on updated accounting practices and tools.
