Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations of our plywood company. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience and good working knowledge of Tally accounting software, GST, invoicing, bank reconciliation and routine accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.
Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
Maintain cash and bank books.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting transactions.
Prepare and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

2. Sales & Purchase Accounting

Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries and credit/debit notes.
Verify purchase invoices, bills and supporting documents.
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Coordinate with the sales, purchase and dispatch teams regarding billing and documentation.

3. GST & Compliance Support

Maintain GST-related records and documentation.
Assist in preparation and reconciliation of GST returns.
Verify GST input and output entries.
Ensure proper tax treatment in invoices and accounting entries.
Assist the senior accounts team during audits and statutory compliance work.

4. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

Perform regular bank reconciliation.
Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate with concerned departments for correction.
Follow up on pending entries and outstanding balances.

5. Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly accounting reports as required.
Prepare outstanding receivable and payable statements.
Assist in preparing MIS and management reports.
Provide accurate financial information to the Accounts Manager/Management.

Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts.
Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
Knowledge of GST, invoicing and basic taxation.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Experience in handling sales and purchase accounting.
Good reconciliation and analytical skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates having experience in plywood, laminate, timber, building materials, manufacturing or trading companies will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant practical accounting experience may also be considered.
