Account Executive

Role Overview

We're looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance for our SME clients. You'll own a set of client files from start to finish, working directly with clients and our senior team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts for multiple SME clients in Tally / Busy / Zoho Books, including journal entries, bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and support finalisation of accounts
• GST: prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, reconcile ITC with GSTR-2B, support annual returns (GSTR-9/9C), and handle basic notices and client queries
• TDS: compute TDS, make monthly payments, file quarterly returns (24Q/26Q), issue Form 16/16A, and reconcile with 26AS/TRACES
• ROC: prepare and file annual returns (AOC-4, MGT-7/7A), DIR-3 KYC, and event-based forms (DIR-12, PAS-3, INC-20A etc.), and maintain statutory registers
• Support income tax return filing and tax audit working papers
• Track compliance due dates across clients and make sure filings go in on time
• Coordinate with clients to get documents and resolve queries

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (semi-qualified candidates welcome)
• 13 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance, preferably at a CA firm
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Companies Act compliances
• Comfortable with Tally and GST/TRACES/MCA portals
• Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Able to handle several client deadlines at once
• Clear communication in English and Hindi
