JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ( from All India )

Position: Senior Accountant

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

Software: Tally Prime / ERP

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally, GST compliance, taxation, and accounting operations. Candidates with prior experience working under a Chartered Accountant (CA) will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities in Tally Prime.

• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, payment, receipt and journal entries.

• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation and related documentation.

• Handle GST registration, notices and routine GST-related correspondence.

• Perform GST reconciliation between books, purchase records and GST portal data.

• Assist with TDS, income tax and other statutory compliance.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules and MIS reports.

• Maintain accurate ledgers and conduct bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Coordinate with CA, auditors, tax consultants and statutory authorities.

• Provide required data and documents for audits and tax assessments.

• Ensure timely completion of statutory filings and compliance requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation and records for all accounting and taxation matters.

Required Qualification & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime.

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finalization of accounts.

• Good MS Excel skills.

• Experience working under a CA / Chartered Accountant will be preferred.

• Good analytical, communication and coordination skill

Pay: ₹10,844.96 - ₹30,614.71 per month
