Account Executive

Company: JWA DESIGN BUILD SB
Location: Plaza YLY Lot 1, 2nd Floor Jln Tuaran Bypass Inanam
Working hour : 8am-5pm (Monday - Friday)

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments and receipts.
  • Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and monitor company bank transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules and supporting documents.
  • Monitor outstanding client and supplier balances and follow up on collections and payments.
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and statutory payments where required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities on accounting matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents for audit, tax submission and other company expenses.
  • Ensure all accounting documents are properly filed and maintained.
  • Monitor project-related expenses and assist with cost tracking and budget monitoring.
  • Assist management with financial analysis and ad-hoc accounting reports when required.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by the management.

• Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Construction industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
