Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Taxation professional with 3-4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably from the shipping/container or logistics sector. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, tax compliance, month-end closing, payables, and coordination with government authorities and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting and taxation activities in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare and file VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Tax returns within the stipulated timelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Manage month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, including reviewing supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, and ensuring timely payments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Liaise with government agencies, tax authorities, auditors, and other external parties on accounting and taxation matters, as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to accounting and tax compliance.
• Support audits and provide necessary information and documentation as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Commerce, or a related field.
• Qualified CPD preferred/required.
• Strong working knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and compliance.

Language Skills:

• Thai – Fluent
• English – Good working proficiency
