Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have good practical knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day accounting records.
• Handle sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, debit/credit notes, and expense accounting.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Handle GST-related work, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation, and input tax credit verification.
• Handle TDS-related work, including TDS calculation, deduction, returns, reconciliation, and related documentation.
• Ensure timely compliance with applicable GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with year-end closing, audits, and tax-related requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for statutory compliance and audits.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist management with accounting and financial reports.
• Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Good practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
• Knowledge of Income Tax and other statutory compliance.
• Experience in GST, TDS, bank, and ledger reconciliation.
• Good understanding of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and journal entries.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualification

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Additional certification/course in GST, taxation, or accounting will be an advantage.

Salary

Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and overall suitability for the position.
