Position: Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the plant.
• Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and other accounting entries.
• Manage vendor invoices, purchase invoices and payment processing.
• Perform vendor and customer ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle bank reconciliation and cash/bank transactions.
• Verify invoices, supporting documents and accounting approvals before processing.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Ensure proper accounting of GST, TDS, TCS and other applicable taxes.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documents.
• Assist in monthly closing, provisions, accruals and expense accounting.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Sales, Commercial and Plant teams for accounting-related matters.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and provide regular updates.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and information.
• Prepare periodic MIS and accounting reports as required by management.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper records of plant expenses, purchases, inventory-related transactions and other financial documents.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Experience in Steel / Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial Plant will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS and basic statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 4–6 years of experience in plant accounting, particularly from the steel, manufacturing, engineering or heavy-industry sector, will be preferred. The candidate should be comfortable working in a plant environment and coordinating with multiple operational departments.
