Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including receipt claim, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance.
• Perform tax filing, banking transactions, and statutory compliance according to Malaysian regulations.
• Liaise with external accounting firms, auditors, and company secretaries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, management reports, and analyses for decision-making.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and account reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Extract and analyze financial data using Excel or SQL-based accounting systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Assist in audit preparation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling full set accounts, preferably in BPO or multi-client environments.
• Familiar with Malaysian tax regulations, statutory compliance, and payroll processing.
• Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Basic SQL or data extraction knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent in Mandarin (required) and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced BPO environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
