Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
• Assist in GST reporting, tax-related matters, and audits by providing the required schedules and supporting documents.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, government agencies, customers, and vendors on accounting matters.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc accounting duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience in handling full set of accounts independently.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, or warehousing industry is an advantage.
