What they need
Who you are
- We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to win new business and grow customer relationships across the UK and Europe
- You will bring proven enterprise closing ability, independent commercial judgement and an established ability to use AI to achieve significantly more in your working day
- You are an experienced enterprise software seller who can create opportunities, qualify them rigorously and take responsibility for closing. You understand complex buying processes and can maintain momentum through lengthy evaluations and negotiations
- A track record of closing enterprise software deals with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles, and consistently hitting target
- Strong discovery, demonstration and negotiation skills, with the judgement to establish where we can win and when to walk away
- Experience building senior customer relationships and identifying opportunities to retain and grow accounts
- Advanced, practical use of AI in your sales work, with repeatable workflows you can demonstrate and results you can explain
- Clear communication, careful preparation and reliable follow-through
- The initiative to set your own plan, solve problems and move work forward without waiting for detailed instructions
- Experience in event technology, corporate events or corporate access would be a strong advantage. That could include selling relevant platforms or having worked directly within events or corporate access teams alongside your software sales experience. Understanding these buyers, their workflows and the pressures they face will help you contribute quickly
- Experience selling into banks, financial institutions, law firms or other complex enterprise organisations is also highly relevant
What the job involves
- You will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying an opportunity and understanding the buyer’s needs through to negotiation and close. Alongside new business, you will own an agreed portfolio of customer relationships, helping those organisations get more value from Eventogy through renewals and expansion
- Working closely with our Commercial Director and colleagues across product and delivery, you will have the autonomy to shape your approach and the support to navigate complex opportunities
- Developing new business across the UK and Europe, with a focus on financial services, legal and professional services
- Running discovery meetings and product demonstrations that connect customer needs with a clear commercial case
- Managing opportunities through proposals, procurement, legal and security reviews to close
- Building relationships across buying teams, understanding how decisions are made and helping customers move forward
- Managing renewals and identifying opportunities to expand into additional teams, products and use cases
- Maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast, with clear next steps and an honest assessment of risks
- Working with product and delivery colleagues to ensure customer requirements are understood and commitments can be fulfilled
- Building and improving AI workflows that increase your capacity, sharpen your preparation and strengthen your execution
- You are an experienced enterprise software seller who can create opportunities, qualify them rigorously and take responsibility for closing. You understand complex buying processes and can maintain momentum through lengthy evaluations and negotiations
- AI should already be an integral part of how you work. We expect you to have built and used workflows that materially improve your research, preparation, follow-up and ability to manage opportunities
- You should be able to demonstrate how you connect tools and information, automate repetitive work and turn the time saved into better customer conversations and stronger commercial execution. You can explain what you built, why it works, what changed as a result and where human judgement remains essential
- You will be expected to keep developing these capabilities and contribute approaches the team can learn from. That includes testing new tools, improving existing workflows and knowing how to verify outputs and handle information appropriately
- We will assess this in practice during the interview process. Established capability is essential for this role
The application process
- Start: as soon as possible
- Apply with your CV and brief answers to these two questions:
- Tell us about an enterprise software deal you personally closed. What made it complex, what did you do and what was the outcome?
- Describe an AI workflow you have built or substantially developed and use regularly. Which tools does it connect, what does it do and how has it improved your work?
- Our interview process will include a practical commercial exercise using AI and a walkthrough of an existing workflow. Please use anonymised examples and avoid sharing confidential customer or employer information
- Please include your notice period or earliest available start date
