Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Handle general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and finalisation of accounts.
• Prepare and review GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
• Handle TDS calculations, payments, return filings, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with consultants and auditors for statutory compliance and assessments.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor bank transactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related matters.
• Review accounting entries and support junior accountants in day-to-day activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and finalisation of accounts.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
