Account Executive (Full Set Accounts)

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team at our plastic packaging manufacturing company in Demak Laut / Sejingkat, Kuching. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a full set of accounts and supporting the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations. Candidates with experience in manufacturing accounting and familiarity with AutoCount will have an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain a full set of accounts.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Monitor customer payments and outstanding receivables.
• Process supplier invoices, payments and related documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist with audit, tax and other statutory requirements.

About you

• Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years or more of relevant accounting experience.
• Able to independently handle a full set of accounts.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCount Accounting Software is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting practices.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
