Account Executive / Junior Executive (Based in Tawau ONLY)

About the role

Servay Evergreen Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive / Junior Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to build their career in accounting and finance. You will support the finance department in managing daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies..

Key responsibilities

1. Preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
2. Reconciling bank statements and performing bank account reconciliations
3. Maintaining and updating the general ledger, including journal entries and account analysis
4. Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
5. Supporting the completion of tax filings and compliance documentation
6. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection requirements
7. Supporting senior accountants with ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts executive or financial accounting role
2. 3 years of full set account experience
3. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
5. A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
