Account Executive/Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, General Ledger, cash flow and bank reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor receivables, payables and key balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare GST returns and support statutory compliance.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting and ad-hoc finance projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting & audit experience with hands-on full-set accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of the complete accounting cycle and month-end closing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; Quick-Book experience is an advantage.
• Meticulous, analytical and highly organised.
• Independent, proactive and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
