Account Executive(Costing)

• Responsible for cost accounting functions and inventory accounting.
• Work with operations team to develop and maintain standard costs for products.
• Periodically review requirement of change for bill of material (BOM) and routing hours to support for operational process change
• Present manufacturing dashboard, yield and scrap KPI reporting, to review with operations to communicate findings and drive for cost optimization and process improvement.
• Responsible for monthly COGS variance detailed analysis, forecast bridging commentaries to identify root cause and provide actionable insights to the management.
• Support annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecast preparation for COGS variances and manufacturing costs.
• Be a finance business partner with manufacturing and operation team to support financial analysis on their improvement projects
• Analyzing costs, pricing and sales result compared to business plans.
• Implement procedures and policies for cost accounting.
• Perform month end costing close in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare monthly reporting for product cost, gross margins, inventory report and sales analysis.
• Coordinate and perform monthly and annual inventory counts.
• Actively review systems, process and automation for continuous attainment of work efficiency.
• Implement cost-saving strategies, including process improvements and material usage efficiency.
• Assist in AP, AR, fixed assets management, budget, cash flow forecasting and tax computation.
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent and government bodies.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management as and when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment, financial accounting and reporting
• Business acumen with understanding of manufacturing process and end-to-end inventory cycle.
• High organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards applicable to the industry.
• Having an auditing background and full-set accounting experience would be an added advantage.
