What they need
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a dealership or automotive-related industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full accounting cycle, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance, including understanding of Malaysian tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Experience with auditing procedures and internal controls is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
