What they need

Position: Account Executive/Trainee

Location: Berlin, Germany

Reporting to: Account Manager

Overview Raptor exists to bridge the gap between brands and the real lives of young people. We are a multidisciplinary marketing agency operating at the intersection of where youth meets culture.

In today's ever-evolving cultural landscape, young audiences expect more from the companies they engage with. Authenticity is non-negotiable, and brands must speak to youth culture in ways that resonate deeply and authentically. At Raptor, we help our clients navigate this complex landscape by tapping into the real voices and lived experiences of young people around the world.

With a global insight network of over 10,000 young people, we're constantly connected to the evolving youth landscape. This direct access allows us to decode what engages and motivates young audiences, ensuring every campaign we create resonates personally, collectively and culturally. Whether through immersive live experiences, content creation, social-first storytelling, brand partnerships or large-scale sampling campaigns, we design work that meets young people where they are—online, on campus and in real life.

Headquartered in the UK, with teams across Europe and North America, we partner with global, culture-led brands including Tinder, Jägermeister, Samsung, Canon and Deliveroo to create campaigns that drive relevance and long-term impact.

This role will initially be offered on a contract basis, with the opportunity to progress into a longer-term contract or permanent position for the right candidate.

About You You're a strong communicator who is passionate about people, and just as comfortable on the ground during a live campaign as you are behind the scenes preparing for one. You know how to build meaningful relationships and have a keen eye for identifying great talent, but you're equally focused on making sure that talent delivers once a campaign goes live.

You're organised, adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments, and you're happy supporting an Account Manager across recruitment, campaign delivery and day-to-day client communications. You take direction well, ask the right questions, and can be trusted to represent Raptor professionally with ambassadors and clients.

As this role will support campaigns across Germany, you are fluent in both German and English and have a strong understanding of German student life, university culture and the nuances of studying in Germany. You understand what motivates students, how to engage them authentically, and how campus culture differs across regions.

You're based in Berlin (or within easy commuting distance) and are happy to travel regularly throughout Germany to support recruitment, client meetings and on-the-ground campaign delivery.

You're not just about filling roles - you care about creating impactful brand connections and student communities, and about seeing campaigns through to a strong result once ambassadors are in place. You keep projects running smoothly, confidently manage multiple priorities and bring a positive, solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.

The Role This will be a hands-on, supporting role within Raptor's German client services team, working closely with and reporting to an Account Manager. It will involve a mix of desk-based coordination and field work on campus and on-site at live activations.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and management of brand ambassadors for client campaigns across Germany.
  • Help build and grow Raptor's German student ambassador network through proactive campus recruitment and relationship building.
  • Coordinate brand ambassador schedules, ensuring campaigns are staffed with the right talent.
  • Help prepare staffing profiles and talent presentations for Account Manager and client review.
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for brand ambassadors, providing ongoing support and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and complete administrative tasks to keep recruitment processes efficient.

Live Campaign Support

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of live campaigns, acting as an on-the-ground point of contact for ambassadors during activations.
  • Help monitor live campaigns to ensure seamless execution, flagging staffing or logistics issues to the Account Manager and helping resolve them quickly.
  • Manage brand ambassador social content during live campaigns, reviewing and approving submissions to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Support quality control of ambassador performance across both digital and live activations, stepping in with coaching or support where needed.
  • Help track staffing costs during live delivery to keep the Account Manager informed of budget status.
  • Draft status reports and contact reports during and after campaigns for Account Manager review, to keep clients and internal teams informed.

Client & Campaign Support

  • Support the Account Manager in maintaining strong working relationships with clients, helping to understand their community requirements and campaign objectives.
  • Help prepare for and attend client meetings alongside the Account Manager to understand campaign needs.
  • Support youth insight sessions that feed into wider agency campaigns.
  • Visit universities and campuses across Germany to drive recruitment and increase awareness of ambassador opportunities.

Experience

  • This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing, talent management, experiential events or youth marketing.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, events, hospitality, campus marketing, student ambassador programmes or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential.
  • Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • A genuine understanding of German student life, university culture and the higher education landscape in Germany.
  • Comfortable working across both talent recruitment and live campaign delivery, and happy switching between the two.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to ambassadors, clients and colleagues under guidance from senior team members.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace or equivalent.
