Account Intern (November Intake)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Powin Steel Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Intern to join our team in Cheng, Melaka. This is a full-time role that will provide you with valuable experience in the accounting and bookkeeping field.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in Accounts Receivable (AR): invoicing, updating customer records & tracking payments
• Support Accounts Payable (AP): invoice checking, expense entry & basic processing
• Perform data entry of accounting transactions accurately and timely
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
• Assist in recording production activities, including raw materials and finished goods
• Support inventory tracking and basic reconciliation
• Assist with month-end tasks and simple reports
• Assist in monthly stocktake and reconcile physical counts with system records

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (debit/credit)
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and responsible with strong data-handling skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software knowledge is an advantage
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
