ACCOUNT INTERNSHIP

About the role

Account Internship position located in SENAI, JOHOR, supporting the Accounts Department with daily accounting and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Department with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Support data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Help prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and basic accounting work.
• Perform accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support stock take and preparation of stock lists.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to accounting activities and assigned tasks.
• Uphold professionalism and integrity in all tasks, ensuring diligence, patience, and enthusiasm while meeting department schedules.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Responsible, hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Independent and proactive team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, with professionalism and integrity in all tasks.
• Own transport and commuting ability, ensuring reliability and flexibility to meet operational and customer needs.
