Account Manager

About the role

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. Supervise and mentor accounting staff while providing actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end / year-end closing
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) aging and sales collection
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Group reporting requirements
• Deliver timely management reports and financial analysis
• Support Group consolidation, internal reporting, and audit requirements
• Handle ad-hoc finance matters as required
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Provide actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making

About you

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounts including related management roles
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
