Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Handle GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.

Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other applicable statutory returns.

Manage bank reconciliations, vendor payments, customer receipts, and cash-flow monitoring.

Monitor project-wise accounts, expenses, budgets, and profitability.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.

Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.

Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and supporting documentation.

Review invoices, purchase bills, expense claims, and payment requests.

Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Lead and supervise the accounts team.

Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.

Experience in construction / real estate / infrastructure companies preferred.

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software.

Strong MS Excel skills.

Good analytical, communication, and team-management skills.

Ability to independently handle the complete accounts function.
