Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 710 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and basic statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally and MS Excel, along with a good understanding of purchase, sales, stock, vendor, and banking transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounting transactions using Tally; strong working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze accounting records using MS Excel.
• Record purchase invoices cost-centre-wise and stock-wise.
• Process Material GRN entries in Tally and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Record and manage sales invoices cost-centre-wise and stock-wise.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliation and monitor stock consumption.
• Perform vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Handle basic accounting compliances related to GST and TDS.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management review.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding accounting queries, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Ensure timely closure of accounting activities with proper supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate and systematic records in accordance with company policies and accounting practices.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in inventory and stock accounting.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience, strong Tally exposure, and experience in handling purchase, sales, inventory, reconciliation, MIS, GST and TDS-related activities will be preferred. Candidates residing on or having convenient access to the Central Line will be given preference.
