About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts professional with strong exposure to Real Estate Project Accounting, RERA and DTCP compliance. The candidate will be responsible for project-wise accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations and coordination with internal teams, auditors and external consultants.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with a real-estate developer/builder, particularly in project accounts and statutory/regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project-wise accounting for real-estate development projects.
• Handle accounting and documentation related to RERA compliance and project financial reporting.
• Maintain and monitor RERA-related accounts, records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate for RERA audit, certifications, statements and periodic compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting records in accordance with project budgets and approved cost structures.
• Handle DTCP-related financial/accounting documentation and compliance coordination.
• Coordinate with legal, projects, sales, CRM and finance teams for RERA/DTCP-related requirements.
• Monitor project expenses, construction costs, vendor payments and receivables.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare project-wise MIS, cash-flow statements, ageing reports and financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS and other applicable statutory accounting compliances.
• Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and provide required schedules, statements and supporting documents.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual books of accounts.
• Review accounting entries and ensure proper documentation and supporting for transactions.
• Assist management in project costing, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate records for regulatory, audit and management requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of RERA & DTCP requirements relevant to real-estate projects.
• Hands-on experience in Real Estate Project Accounting.
• Good understanding of project-wise accounting and cost tracking.
• Knowledge of RERA project accounts / RERA audit requirements.
• Exposure to GST, TDS and statutory compliances.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Good Excel and MIS skills.
• Experience in ERP/accounting software.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with auditors, consultants and cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• CA/CA Inter/CMA/qualified finance professional will be an advantage.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real-estate developer/builder.
• Candidates with direct experience in RERA, DTCP and project accounting will be preferred.
• Should have strong attention to detail and good understanding of real-estate accounting processes.
