About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, reporting, vendor/customer accounts, and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent Tally/ERP, MS Excel and Google Sheets skills, and the ability to independently manage accounting activities while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, customers, banks, and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
• Perform daily bank, cash, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Manage invoices, purchase bills, sales invoices, credit/debit notes, and payment records.
• Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely collections/payments.
• Prepare MIS reports, expense reports, cash-flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding billing, payments, and account-related queries.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with CA/auditors for audits, returns, and financial requirements.
• Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Support management with financial data and accounting insights whenever required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / accounting ERP software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliation, and taxation basics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong ownership and responsibility towards financial records.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Distribution, E-commerce, or Vending Operations will be an advantage.
